UUFNB HAD 13 WOMEN ATTEND 2012 W&R RETREAT FROM A TINY CONGREGATION! HOW MANY FROM YOUR CONGREGATION ATTENDED? HOW MANY WILL ATTEND MARCH 1-3, 2013?
WILL YOUR UU WOMEN WIN THE BASKET OF WINES WE’RE OFFERING TO THE GROUP WITH THE HIGHEST PERCENTAGE OF INCREASE IN ATTENDANCE????????
Yeah, yeah, it’s easier for us because we’re closer to the Enchanted Hills. That’s why we volunteer to do the auction and raffle that involves hauling multiple coat racks, hangers and stuff.
We challenge you: increase your church’s attendance by the highest percentage and you win a basket of wines to share with your group. That means, if you had 5 women from your church attend last year and you have 10 attend this year, then you’ve doubled your attendance, an increase of 100%.
Our UUFNB women have found benefits far above getting a break from home, far above getting a spiritual renewal, far above connecting with UU women from our district. We have bonded! It carries over into the church year. We are in our second year of offering the Women of Wisdom course. We enjoy volunteering with each other for church activities. We have formed special friendships and support groups for each other.
We’ll make it easier for you. If you can’t attend because it’s too far or too hard to drive to or back from the retreat in one day, we will offer 4 NEW REGISTRANTS a bed for Thursday night and/or Sunday night. Free. If you’re feeling particularly grateful, you can make a donation to the W&R Scholarship Fund.

Our friends and families say we are really wild women when we return home, full of renewed vigor and enthusiasm. It shakes things up a bit, which is good for them and for our church.

What do you have to win? At the least, a few bottles of wine. At the most? Well, go to the retreat and experience it for yourself.
